I know exactly what it feels like to be on the edge of this kind of change. It’s that feeling inside that is screaming for the opportunity to emerge into something new. I see the picture of a flower that is ready to be its most beautiful self and those few moments before the bloom – intense!
It is our challenge to allow ourselves to emerge into the new being we are becoming. We sometimes fear the “becoming” because we don’t know what the “new” will be. Will it be better than the old or will it propel you into a whole new world of being? Just ask the butterfly who becomes all new. What amount of pain would the butterfly experience if it refused to fully transform when the time came; it would die.
It is my experience that a good deal of courage is needed to usher in the new and let your new self blossom. Even as I write I feel the incredible impulse to allow what is emerging in me to flow through and be all new. I don’t always know what to expect but past experience tells me it is always good.
