Connecting to the energy within plays a critical role in defining our behavior and our nature. Often we don’t even realize how overwhelmed we are.The effect becomes so strong that it completely transforms our behavioral pattern in an negative manner. Hence, it becomes even more important to nurture the energy within us in a positive way.
The external energies are the world issues which are not in our control. But when it comes to the internal energy, the control is ours. Even medical science now openly accepts the effectiveness of this internal energy and healing methods like meditation and Reiki.
The healing arts are becoming more important because they hit the root cause of an illness. The healing process is natural, internal and free from any risk. Reiki in particular, is a method of channeling the energy of a person and directing it in a direction which can make them a healthier.
The human mind is often occupied with overthinking, tension and stress. Stress fills the mind with lower vibration (al) or negative energy. As the law of attraction says, negative attracts negative and positive will attract positive. This negative energy indirectly attracts the negativity in the outer world making us vulnerable to the challenges around us.
Techniques like Reiki has gained popularity due to the ease and comfort of the treatments. Reiki releases stressful energy allowing the client to invite in positive energies. For some a one-time treatment works wonders and for others, several treatments are needed. Thirty minute treatments are wonderful for stress maintenance.
Many of us grew up with the understanding that we are not to display emotions and to keep certain feelings to ourselves. Eventually, these hidden emotions surface in a negative form. Reiki works on channeling these emotions and releasing them from the body and mind. During session, I often incorporate other modalities to assist and enhance the process:
- Aromatherapy – Essential oils have a relaxing effect on our mind, body and emotions.
- Meditation- Also assists in relaxing the mind, releasing stress and many other wonderful qualities.
- Chakra balance – Our body has energy centers. Balancing the chakras not only help in relaxation but has been found extremely helpful in the transformation of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
However we choose to look at our personal energy we may all agree that stress is not welcome and connecting to the energy within is critical. Finding a method of releasing our daily stresses is important. Whether you choose Reiki, meditation, yoga, exercise or some other modality, be sure to practice often. Blessings.
